- About Us
The surgery (and telephone lines) will be closed from 1pm to 3pm on the 8th July for staff training purposes. Medical cover will be provided by the out of hours service and the telephones will automatically divert. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Although we are fortunate enough to be in the grips of a heatwave, we would like to inform our patients that we are now taking bookings for flu jabs. There will be clinics running most weeks from the end of September, including regular Saturday morning clinics. Please ring the surgery to book your slot as soon as possible.
Ivy Court Surgery is pleased to announce that it featured on BBC 1 on The Sunday Politics Show at 11am on Sunday 26th October!
The piece focused on our Weekend Urgent Care centre which was started in Tenterden on 1st February with support from the Ashford CCG, and has become a successful service for our patients. We have worked together with local surgeries in Hamstreet and Woodchurch to extend this service to over 25,000 patients in our locality. The weekend service was also nominated for the National Association of Primary Care ‘Most Productive Joint Working Initiative’ award and we are delighted to have been awarded Runner-up last week out of over 65 national projects!
We are very proud of this achievement and the improvement of care for our patients and hope to continue to develop innovative solutions to the problems faced by our NHS. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all of our patients who continue to support us year on year.
