Travel Vaccination

If you are planning to travel abroad to a destination where vaccinations or malaria prophylaxis are recommended please click the link below to determine the vaccinations you require.

Once this has been determined, contact the surgery to make your appointment. Please complete the travel risk assessment form below and bring with you when you attend your appointment.

It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible – at least 6 weeks before you travel – as a second appointment maybe required.

Please note that only the vaccinations below are available on the NHS.

Hepatitis A
Typhoid
Diphtheria, Polio and Tetanus

NHS vaccinations are available only for our registered patients.

However, often other travel vaccinations are required including Yellow Fever and Rabies. These can be provided (see below) but they will incur a private charge.

Ashford Rural Medical Services Travel Vaccinations

As a specific travel advice service is not covered by the NHS, this service is provided by ARMS as a private service. There will be one clinic each week, alternating on a Tuesday from Hamstreet Surgery and the following week on a Thursday from Ivy Court in Tenterden.

A full travel service is provided, including Yellow Fever and Rabies vaccinations.
