Flu Clinics 2020 & Telephone Lines

Dear Patient,

Following our e-mail yesterday, if you have previously had confirmed that you will receive a home visit for your flu vaccination, this will still happen. You do not need to call the surgery to confirm this. Once the date for this is confirmed we will contact you directly.

Apologies for the confusion.

We are aware of the difficulties getting through on the phone. The demand following the email has been unprecented and far exceeds levels seen in previous years. We have increased the number of incoming lines from today and are working with NHS IT to implement alternative booking methods. We are grateful for your patience and apologise for the understandable frustration.

Many thanks for your attention, and with our very best wishes.

Flu Clinics 2020

Dear Patient,

We are now taking bookings for the flu clinics.

These run during the week as well as on some Saturdays.

The appointments do tend to go very quickly, please telephone as soon as possible to reserve your slot, on 01580 763666 AFTER 10 AM.

Many thanks for your attention, and with our very best wishes.

Dispensary text message alerts

During September the Ivy Court Dispensary will be using a new system to contact patients when their prescriptions are ready. From September a text message will be sent to advise medications are ready for collection. This will help reduce queuing for medications as the winter months approach. They will also use the same service to advise patients when they can expect their medications delivered.
